Grant'll be back, and he'll be productive. Dude gets zero love from the fans, but he's been solid as all hell and put up consecutive 1200 yard seasons on a pass-first offense. I don't know what more people want from the guy.

He'll be back. He'll get back in the starting lineup. He'll produce. That's what he does.

Grant IMO is one of the underrated backs in the league.Yes he may not be elusive or very fast but he is very tough man he is a power back and a one cut runner in my eyes im glad he is are starting HB. I hated to see him go down man.But I think jackson will step up and make some plays for us.

Remember this guy...he fanned the flames on his feet after a preseason kr/pr td? lets bring him back! :)

As for other retreads, Ahman is in the UFL, and I think Davenport is pooping in a closet somewhere.

I agree with RP, though, I've never been overly impressed with Grant, and although I'm not overly impressed with Bjack either, Grant better get back or he may sacrifice some of his snaps to Bjack.

Demond Parker! Yeah, he sealed his fate by batting the ball up in the air instead of catching it. Good thing they let Bjack get away with that. LOL. Parker had great speed and agility. A little on the small side. I was rooting for him, but he couldn't catch a lick.
Grant will be back. Maybe it's for the best, since he never turns it on before week 10 anyway. LOL.
Glad Jackson's getting his shot.

His wind up was painfully slow and he had the face like Charlie Brown. Because of this, he wasn't a fan favorite.

Ryan Grant is like Rick Reuschel. Not a fan favorite, but he consistently gets results. Reuschel turned out to be a dependable pitcher for the Giants before he retired. Boring, nothing flashy, but dependable.

Ryan is the same. Boring. Nothing flashy. But consistently good.

Don't take him for granted because he doesn't have the best moves, the best cuts, and he doesn't run over people. What he does get us are yards and TDs and he doesn't fumble. In the end, that is what matters anyways.

My gut tells me if Grant is out more than one week Grant will not get the starting job back.

It happens all the time in the NFL.

Look for some special things from Jackson.

Jackson has had opportunities to show he has something special and hasn't, why would it be any different this time around? Unless the injury is really bad and can't be healed properly while having to play on it, then I can't imagine why he wouldn't be the starter again. Jackson is a #2 at best, and will be happy to get any production out of him. In reality I don't care if Jackson has 20 carries for 20 yards, just handing the ball off a certian amount of times makes defenses at least have to keep stopping the run in mind.

At any rate, with that in mind, I don't see a reason to rush and pickup another RB when the DL vacancy from Harrell is much more important imo.
