Cliffy and Tausch both looked bad, imo. I do not know if it was "old" looking, but - to me - it was definitely "bad" looking, to the point I'd like to get the replacements in, RFN==

What struck me about the game was:

-John Kuhn looked pretty studly when he touched the ball.
-Matthews looked pretty good for missing most of preseason.
-To my untrained eye Raji looked pretty good.
-I was impressed with the level of classiness of both teams.

Things I am wondering about are:

-Are the number and severity of the injuries typical of a Week 1/Week 2 game, or was it as out of the ordinary as it seemed?
-If after sacking Vick the Packers player celebrated by crawling away on all fours and howling at the moon, would that be considered too soon/in poor taste?

- Matthews +++ <<< we lucky sobs to have him as our OLB

- Defense as a whole ++
- rodgers off day (and what I saw was as a result of pressure being put on him by the sloppy Oline).
- clifton tauscher; bleh - lets see how lang and bulaga do; give them some reps if we see crap like that again.
- tramon as a PR; our 2nd best corner as a returner? ... nah and IMO you can see it on the field hes a bit nervous about it.
- Hardly any penalties (I remember seeing the eagles with 4 and the pack with 0 and thought we must of paid off the refs or something) +++
we all can remember last year where our Oline moved like a slinky forward and backward along the field.

- rodgers throwing into triple coverage --
- vick + (dude was good so he gets a + for showing our guys how its done)

To sum it up; beating the eagles at home (first since 1962) ++++
its a W and Im actually glad we made some mistakes. We still get the W and hopefully our guys (including the coaches) have something to work with to improve upon.
