By the way, option #2 is Miami.

I bet Ted Thompson hates twitter.

Shit I think this would be a great signing, guy has a bunch of experience in returns and would field both PR and KR, biggest upside is keeping Tramon off the field.
We are born naked, wet and hungry. Then things get worse.

Ok guys, fear not, British is on the case. I've put the hard sell on my new buddy Clifton.

British@CliftonSmith22, Mate, we need you up in Titletown. There is a gaping hole in our return dept and you can be the guy to fill it. Come back!

CliftonSmith22: I would love to be in green and gold it was a dream of mine growing up to the leap after I scored!! But this is a cold business and I have To go where it was in the best for me and my family... Because after this game is over my Lil girl won't have to work for anybody.

British@CliftonSmith22, I understand that. You have to look after your family. Hopefully your girl will be taken care of whether you choose the Packers or the Dolphins. But remember, Green Bay is unique in the world of sports. A team owned by the fans. You can be a legend up here. And we're getting ready for a decade of Superbowl attempts. We just need you to be our returner 🙂 Peace.

Slightly sycophantic I know, but these NFL players with their fragile egos probably need to feel needed.

It's kind of amazing that modern technology allows fans to talk to potential free agents while their flying from one NFL club to another.

Rob Demovsky reporting that the Packers were concerned with Clifton's history of concussions.

I'd love if this move happens for the Packers. Overall, this is a good pick-up for them.

Nothing negative about this at all. Imagine him either scoring or putting our offense in an easy position to score (though I think our offense can score from anywhere on the field this season).

Btw, lost in all of this is that we've worked out former Lions and Jaguars safet Gerald Alexander, as well.

Keep up the good work, British! It's kind of weird that a guy in England is the one who's trying to convince a player to come to Green Bay, Wisconsin, but I don't think anybody could sell it any better than you are.

If that doesn't speak to the volumes of "stardom" a Packer receives.. I don't know what would.

Now someone with a Twitter account has to pretend they are a Dolphins fan, and tell him he's not welcome there and that they think he sucks.

I wonder if a fan with too much time of his hands could use twitter to derail a rivals attempt to sign a player.

Say there was a particularly vain NFL player with a fragile ego (most of them surely) considering joining the Vikes or Bears. You pretend to be a fan of that team and just hurl a tirade of foul mouthed abuse at the guy telling him what a complete screw up he is and that the fans don't want him. It probably doesn't make any difference, but if they read on the day they were deciding which club to choose I wonder it might sway them.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
