I'm only ignorant (or maybe just naive) because I think I can turn some of ya'll into REAL football fans.

Even you have to understand how lame it sounds for Vikings fan to say anything about being a real fan to a Packers fan. C'mon now. lol

I will say, you're one of the top three best Vikings fans I know. I have some family in MN and I put you above them, lol.

Well, I appreciate the compliment (maybe? lol).. but seriously? It takes a REAL fan to go through the 50 years of failure that you guys so eloquently put it and still sport the colors of Gay Pride Week all the while the the same enthusiasm of the fan of the team that has a rich football history along with a recent dynasty (a la the 90's Cowboys or the 00's Pats).

And I didn't even elaborate HOW those years of failure went down, which most certainly are much different (and worse might I add) than going 1-15 for 50 years.

I've spoken to and with a lot of Vikings fan's and their depth of fan'ism changes with the success/failure of the team. In Green Bay, we filled the stadium even when the Packers were winning 4 games a season and everyone still wore their ugly green and yellow attire with pride.

Like I am now in Colorado. 🙂 I bought seat covers for my truck and a few other things. heh

I am really impressed with the hard core dedication and perseverance the Vikings fans have shown.

Signed, number 72,452 on the season ticket waiting list.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

What the Vikings Fans don't realize is that each person on that list is registered for 4 tickets. The team already has 2 seperate groups of season tickets. There are some game for Milwaukee season ticket holders. That means that the Packers could sell out a lambeau field 6 times over. With a population of just 100,000.

They can't even sell out the Dome for a playoff game one time without Brett Favre. The former Packer.

I have said before. I will sit in my seat in a December game where it is 38 deg and raining and the 0-15 Packers are getting blown out until the last snap. Because I love this game. I like it more when they win. But that is not why I am here.

When that's something one doesn't stand for, nor cares to ever stand for, it's not something that comes naturally.

Certainly takes more 'courage' (I think that's the wrong word for it.. but I digress) than to wear green and yellow.

That's cute. Most of your season ticket holders pass their tickets down to family members.. But don't go fooling yourself by saying there's a waiting list and how great your fans are.. There's scalpers outside Lambeau just like at every other stadium. So you can take your elitist fandom and shove it. 🙂

How many other fan-bases have a waiting list though? Because, every season ticket can be passed on to family/friend, correct?

I'm not asking to make a point here, asking because I really don't know. To my knowledge, other teams have the same thing, meaning season tickets can be passed on to whomever they chose. Yet, I don't think many other teams have a list as the Packers.

I disagree. I wear purple. It's hardly a gay thing anymore. Yellow and green, however, is just a horrible color combination outside of Packers fan gear.

beast (8h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (8h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (18h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (18h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (20h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (21h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22h) : Thank you
wpr (22h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (23h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (23h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (23h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (23h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (23h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
