I looked at the poll.
It was a straight fist fight between Davis and Finley.
Finley won.
Green and gold goggles were involved, HOWEVER -
Am I wrong in saying that even though Davis had a monster season, his cause was greatly aided by the fact that he is the focal target in the 49'ers passing attack?
Crabdouche came in late, Morgan/Battle/Bruce were OK, so that leaves...Davis.
The Packers had more depth and dimension to their offense last season, two 1k recievers and 1.2k rusher is testament to that. Despite all of that, Finley won plaudits as the best EMERGING tight end in the game.
I haven't taken all round play (blocking) into full consideration, because these hybrid fuckers like Davis and Finley are so damn awesome in terms of a recieving option, I can't justify putting in an all round tight end.
If this was a couple years back? Gonzalez, no question.
