If Americans were actually healthy, these drug companies would go out of business. I know a girl who is absolutely convinced that her "restless leg syndrome" is a real problem and she NEEDS those drugs. Yes, I'm not making this shit up.

Could you imagine someone 20 years ago complaining about restless leg syndrome? We would have beaten them up.

A lot of this crap, like ADD for instance, either doesn't exist or is exaggerated so the drug companies can profit. I'm willing to bet less than 10% of the people on ADD drugs or anti-depressants actually need those drugs. The rest are being scammed.

Scamming Americans is a huge industry.

But don't get me started on ADD and ADHD. Remember the good old days when kids could make it through high school and college WITHOUT Ritalin?

I got insomnia. I go nights sleeping two or three hours a night at least once a week.

The drug companies could make thousands of dollars a year off of me. They could go fuck themselves.

I learned to live with it.

There are SOOOO many good posts here, i could "applaud" most of them.
The one about kids being force fed ritalin.....arn't there all these "say NO to drugs" posters in the schools? Yet a kid gets jumpy or day dreams, and it's "QUICK!!! Get him a PILL!"

And it's also true, if the drug companies actually CURED people, they would be out trillions of dollars. Makes you wonder how many cures never saw the light of day because of this.

As far as other conspiracies, i'd say the JFK assassination could be one. The way it all went down, with Jack Ruby getting into the Dallas Police basement with a gun, and being able to kill Oswald before he could give up any info. Seems a little too easy.
Plus there were people at Dealy Plaza that filmed the murder, and their cameras were confiscated by people showing badges, and the films or cameras were never recovered.
I saw a video several years ago of Jack Ruby in his jail cell, and he said something to the effect that he wanted to go to Washington, and if they wanted to know the truth as to why he shot Oswald, the only way he would tell was if he got out of Texas.
And they never flew him out of Texas. He died shortly there after in jail, supposedly from cancer.
It bothers me that here they MIGHT have found out important info, ALL they had to do was get Ruby out of Texas, and they wouldn't do it? REALLY???
That, plus all the other shady stuff involved with the murder, makes me consider it might have been a conspiracy. People that were there dieing under mysterious circumstances, and many other things.
Of course now, we will never know all the real details of what happened.
