Well first my break out player is Brad Jones,I think this guy has very good potential to be a nasty OLB.He very much impressed me in the Pittsburgh game last year.Hes very fast and he's prob got stronger in the offseason he could very well have 8 sacks this year and 60+ tackles,he did a nice job taking kampmans place last year and put up 4 sacks I think he will only get better.

My break down player is Donald Lee,he seems to be declining every year here take a look at the past three years...
2007 48 catches 575 yards 6 tds
2008 39 catches 303 yards 5 tds
2009 37 catches 260 yards 1 td
Plus we know Jmike took his starting role and will lose his playing time hes getting older and is not performing as we would like I think he"ll do worse this year as JF will be targeted a lot.And I think we took Andrew Quarless in the draft to replace him down the road.

Who are ur guys break out and break down player u dont have to agree with me I just want to know other peoples opinions on there break out and break down players.

Breakout: I agree with you on Brad Jones. Because the team did well last year, and almost all of the starters and major role players are coming back, there aren't a lot of candidates for breakout seasons. I guess the next most likely after Jones would be Morgan Burnett, but first he has to battle for a starting job in training camp.

Breakdown: I hate predicting this, but I will go with an obvious choice: Chad Clifton. I don't know if his knees can get him through a full season. I think Donald Lee's production will stabilize. It doesn't sound like Quarless is ready to push him for the #2 TE spot yet.

Who I hope will break out: someone on OL.
Who I think will break out: Pat Lee.

Who I fear will break down: Rodgers (because of OL).
Who I think will break down: Clifton and/or Tauscher.

Breakout: Justin Harrell (If he even plays ) (Purely wishful thinking)
Breakdown: Chad Clifton (I really hope I'm wrong.)

Why Harrell of all people breakout?? I think he's a sure bust, and he's been injured every year.

I actually think BJ Raji will breakout as well he can finally show why we drafted him last year 9th overall.

I'm not sure what people consider to be "breakout" based on their choice of Brad Jones.

Statistically, Jones put up some similar stats to Kampman. I'm saying Jones "breakout" year was last year. Dude filled in for a veteran and our D didn't miss a beat. His stats, extrapolated for a full 16 game season, come out to around 70 tackles and 8 sacks. Compared to Clay from last year, he exceeds his tackle production and comes pretty close to matching his sack production.

Expecting anything more from Jones is, frankly, missing the point of the LOLB in Capers' 3-4 D. Some advanced metrics for Kampy and Jones make one thing very obvious: the LOLB's job in this defense is to defend the run just as much as rush the passer. In other words, if Jones exceeds the 10 sack mark, I think it is only because Clay Matthews suffered an injury.

I meant break down as in "get hurt." If Rodgers has many years (or half years, to be fair to the OL last year) like the first half of next year, he will be knocked out for one or more games. He's a great player. But bang on anyone enough, and a knee or a shoulder or a ankle is going to go.

Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
