Heaven forbid that I would disagree with anyone here BUT.

I don't think their starters are better than ours.

- Rodgers is better than Favre. Rodgers has had two years that are better than any 2 consecutive years Favre has ever had. Favres average is 85 rank and over 25 turnovers. Just because he had his best year in a 19 year career, doesn't mean he will have even an above average one this year. Rodgers average is aroung a 97 rating and 12 turnovers.
- Finley is better than Shank.
- Grant is as good as AP, factoring in TOs and O-line. He had almost the same yard production and the same YPC while he turned the ball over 1 time every 1250 yards compared to 1 every 200.
- I am not sure EJ Henderson will come back 100%. I give that one to Barnett.
- Our secondary is better when it is 100% healthy. Williams and Wood are better than anything they have. If Harris makes it back for Nickle duty, he is way better than Sheppard. Bigby and Collins are better their safeties. Bigby missed time against MN last year. Hopefully we get much needed depth out of Burnette
- Our O-line in the second half gave up 23 fewer sacks and produced 100 more yards for Grant. Than the first half. They didn't play against that line last year. With a healthy line we are more expirianced and better.
- Wide Recievers? I am going with the Pack on that but it is closer.

In short, they have a better D line.

When I said 2-6 or 3-5 to start, it is not because I don't like MN. It is because that is the level of talent they struggled with last year. They won't have 4 games for Favre to get his feet under him like last year.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson, Jared Allen, Steve Hutchinson, and Kevin Williams are all Hall of Fame caliber players.

I think it's far to early to anoint any possible HoF stature to Adrian. If he comes back an cures his fumbles in the next two years and continues to put up the same numbers, then I'm with ya. Until he cures those fumbles though, I have a hard time putting him in the same category as say Walter Payton, or Barry Sanders.

From a pure talent stand point, Peterson is the best RB of his generation. However, you're correct. He's not a HOF player right now, but the potential is there.

With that said, injuries are the only thing stopping him from going to the Hall of Fame ala Terrell Davis. Fumbles won't keep him out.

Until we show we can beat the Queens I can easily see no one picking us higher than 2 in the Division. I'm looking/hoping for us to do that. Detroit and Chicago should be improved this year also.

Yep. After we beat the Vikings twice during the regular season, I'm fine with saying we're the creme of the NFC North.

However, I stand by my statement that we will be in and win the Super Bowl this season.

I don't like tooting my own horn, but I pounded this hard and was ready to eat crow after Grant and Finley and Barnett went down.

I'm so freaking happy!!!
