I have to say it.

He may be reformed in his attitude toward dog fighting.

But he's still a pinhead.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Dunno anything about him now. So I have no opinion on him. Just hoping he turned his life around and keeping it that way.

He is over rated and people will have his number if he is a starter.

Like Randall Cunningham, he will struggle to get "over the hump" until he stops running around like a chick with his head cut off and works on becoming a great QB. Then use his running like Rodgers to escape, make plays and give them one more thing to worry about. It took Cunningham blowing out his knee to do that. If Vick figures it out without that, I would be surprised, but he would be very dangerous.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Comment non related to your point, Randall Cunningham's 2 year drowned in their backyard hot tub just recently. 😞

Vick held a party for his birthday, didn't restrict access and someone was shot.

I can't say I'm a Vick fan, however, I don't see how this is bad on Vick. it's unfortunate someone was shot, doesn't mean it was Vick's fault because he didn't do a background check on those there. He wanted everyone to celebrate his birthday with him. Big deal.

All I have to say is I hope I can have a second chance at a lucrative career if I'm ever convicted of a felony.

With the timeline in question and his story quickly being debunked by video.. one can still say he may not have been directly responsible. Now.. if the video clock is correct his vehicle left 3 minutes before the shooting in the direction of the shooting.. that may develop more..

That notwithstanding.. here is the point.. you are on federal probation and likewise on a short lease with the league.. one would think a rationale human being may not take a chance with a open access party.

Especially if there might be some unfinished issues with past associates..

He might not be at direct fault.. but that still doesn't speak well for his new matured outlook on life.

I more believe this old adage.. once a turd always a turd.

In defense of Randall Cunningham, Cunningham actually could throw the ball. Michael Vick couldn't hit the side of a barn.

Cunningham's '98 campaign was brilliant. Granted, he had 2 Hall of Fame WRs in Moss and Carter, but still. He threw 34 TDs vs 10 INTs and ran very little that year.

Personality aside, I still wouldn't want Vick as QB. He's too one dimensional. His accuracy is poor and relies entirely on his athleticism. He completes passes by surprising everyone that he's actually throwing the ball.

I watched a few games of the eagles last year ... wasnt that impressed with vick. Seemed slow (moved like an old man) and IMO wasnt that great at the QB position.

Sure he had nice play action and some interesting wild cat plays but thats about it.

I wouldnt mind him as a backup on our team thou ... again as a backup.
Im not that comfortable with flynn as our backup.

heck MV probably not much better but at least he would be entertaining to watch with wildcat stuff lol ...
