Eagles drop Shawn Andrews

Shawn Andrews' rollercoaster run with the Philadelphia Eagles is over.

The team announced the move, which only comes as a surprise because of the timing. Andrews underwent back surgery again in December, and his status for training camp was uncertain at best.

Conventional wisdom was that the Eagles would see how his recovery went before deciding whether to pay him another $2 million in 2010.

Andrews' toughness and motivation was questioned in Philadelphia at times during his recovery from various back ailments. The two-time Pro Bowler has played only two games since 2008 and missed the entire 2009 season.

I'll go on record as being in the "Do Not Want" camp, right now. With as much as people complain about Harrell, I do hope they realize this guy's even worse. At least by all accounts Harrell's trying to get healthy.

I'm with ILikethePackers on this one we don't need another Bustin on the team
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
