The chants to fire the Packers' special teams coordinator have been continual over the past years. We analyze whether those chants are deserved.

Some of the mistakes of late are due to the players they added because of injury but if they don't do their job let someone else do it.

If it was just one guy who didn't know when to run the KO out of the end zone, maybe I could blame the player.

Although I would have to ask myself why he was out there.

Funny Thing, maybe this WTMJ guy is confused. I remember chants or whatever to fire that guy who had Special Teams before him (the old timer - I can't even recall his name), but to my recollection, there hasn't been any particular pressure on Slocum or any great reason for it. The Packers special teams may have had a few ups and downs, but they have generally been more good than bad in his tenure.

The teams best special teams player just did return after being out for 4 weeks, most of the other players who excelled on Special Teams are now playing offense or defense.

No big secret Special teams suffer when there are a rash of injuries to a team.

Players are starting to get healthy, which means little by little players will return to their special teams duties.

The new guys are getting experience with every new week.

The Packers are 5-2, and are only going to get healthier, to call for the firing of a coach is just ridiculous.

I guess that is just todays world, everyone thinks they know better than the GM and HC.

I don't remember a game in the past 3 years where special teams play cost The Packers a win, I could be wrong, but none stick out in my mind.

Some just need something to complain about, worry about, IMHO, The Packers coaching staff have done a terrific job this year keeping the team in the playoff mix.

Plenty of other teams(Ie: Atlanta) have fallen by the wayside because they couln't overcome injuries.

ENJOY THE JOURNEY!!!!!
