Asomugha is extremely over rated. He doesn't tackle, and other than 2006, he really hasn't done much. When you make as much as he does, you need to make plays. He doesn't make enough game changing plays.

After 2006 head coaches realized how good he was an gameplanned against throwing to him. I think in 2007, a scout counted that 7 of 30 something balls thrown his way were caught. Even guys like Favre and P. Manning shied away from throwing at him.
He is possibly the best cover corner in the league, Revis is the only other cover corner who comes close.
