I think after the draft I'd tack on two wins to my overall prediction.

I think 10-6 is a safe conservative prediction. Rodgers puts up pro bowl numbers again. Greg Jennings more than earns his payday. Running back competition instead of force feeding grant produces reliable run game. Defense has its learning curve struggles, but I think we find the mean streak I've been looking for for years. We become a team that gets the lead early then puts the opposition in the sleeper hold. No more need for last second come-backs every damn week. Clearly I believe that the defensive change not only improves the scheme, but more importantly the attitude.

Well, given the EXCELLENT draft, the jelling of the Oline, and the return of a healthy Clifton and Tauscher, Add to that one of the easier schedules in the NFL, Packers win the first 16 games...

the second half of this prediction to come later...

As much as I'd love a 16-0 season, what I'd love even more is a SB win, even if it means going 9-7 and barely sneaking in the Playoffs.

Well, since you already posted the 2nd half of my prediction, i have to accuse you of being in my head, a mindreader, a psychic.

Ok, enough. I'm going off to sleep.

To me, the schedule would seem to be in our favor very well. There's not one game of the first 8 we SHOULD lose. The only three that should be close are the Bears, and Vikings twice. We should handle the Bengals, Rams, Lions, Browns, and Bucs...And we should probably take both home games with the Bears and Vikes to put us at 7-1.

Or maybe my expectations are too high?

You can never go too high.

This seasons NFC North will be a bloody battle to the last I'll say that..... with the Pack coming out of top of course.

As long as this team stays healthy we shouldn't even have any major problems against the bears.

This is pretty much what I was/am expecting. Feasting on pretty bad and/or rebuilding teams and splitting the Bears and Vikings games again. 7-1 over the first half of the season looks fairly realistic.

The real problems come after that, though. Cowboys, Ravens, Steelers and the Cardinals at full strength. Although winnable, especially the Ravens and Steelers game will be really, really hard.

if we play like we've been playing i can't see us losing a goddamn single game!

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
    Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."
beast (8-May) : Though I'm a bit surprised letting go of CBs, I thought we needed more not less
beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.

buckeyepackfan (6-May) : The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Julian Hicks, OL Lecitus Smith (luh-SEET-us) and WR Dimitri Stanley

Mucky Tundra (4-May) : @mattschneidman Matt LaFleur on how he tore his pec: “Got in a fight with the bench press. I lost.”
Zero2Cool (3-May) : Jordan Love CAN sign an extension as of today. Might tak weeks/months though
