I think it goes like this: 1. Oher, 2. Jackson, 3. Raji, 4. Smith

I hate the Andre.

makes me feel not as good about Oher ...

To be fair, I don't think you're going to find a guy where all the writers will say nothing but glowing stuff - all this scrutiny that comes down on these kids, there's always a negative, and the "what will you get for the money" argument is getting old at this point. There isn't currently a rookie pay scale, so you're either going to pay the going rate and move on or you trade back year after year hoping to find a diamond in the rough that you can get on the cheap.

Personally, I'd be fine with Oher @ the 9 spot. He sure seems like he could step in a RT at the worst, and he's definitely durable.

Coming out of college, he had the best honors of any OT in this draft. It's workouts that have hampered his status as a top pick. I think he is a great pick at 9.

As long as it's not Andre Smith that we pick #9, I'll be happy.

This mock has us taking jackson over oher and raji - just dont know if hes worth it above those 2. Raji looks to be a solid NT and Oher potential solid OT.

I'm just curious if Teddy would try and give us all a heart-a-stroke and try trading up with KC maybe sending our 1st and one of our 3rds for #3 overall and snag Curry?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

God I hope not. I don't understand the infatuation with Curry, and it's most definitely not a position of need for us.

Why? Because he left the combine? Just to let you know, many people had him ranked as the #1 overall tackle in the draft until that. He's a great run AND pass blocker....now why wouldn't you love to have that on your team?

I would love to draft Andre Smith at 9 this year. Then go w/ Larry English or Ron Brace in the 2nd.

If we took Brace, we could try and trade back up into round 2 and take English or Sintim (or vis versa, trading up to get Brace after selecting English or Sintim).

Take a lot more than that.

As far as Jackson's value. I think he's no more a reach than Michael Oher whom some seem to feel GB is a good fit for. I'd probably prefer Orakpo or Raji, but Jackson is certainly a good pick too.

I like Tyson Jackson or BJ Raji as the #9 pick...either would make me happy. If either is not there, I think we go OT at the spot if Smith or Oher are there.

Two guys I love at 41 are Clint Simtin or Larry English....both are beasts whose numbers at the combine don't necessarily make you go WOW....but guys who produce damn near every donw they are on the field. Personally, while athletes are nice, highly productive FOOTBALL PLAYERS are where its at, and these two fit the bill.

This recent mock draft has Tyson going #3 to Kansas City. That seems a bit high to me and I would be disappointed if this happens.

The more I think about this draft, the more I'm starting to hope we get Raji, Tyson Jackson, MAYBE an offensive tackle, or trade down.

I think Raji is going to be good at worst, and Tyson Jackson seems like a super safe pick. Hard to go wrong with those.

Zero2Cool (13-May) : I know we moved on. That tidbit just makes me a touch happier.
Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : I really don't know lol. I don't see him getting blown up.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then

Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage

Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
