I expect at least two Lambeau leaps from Jackson this Sunday. If he does more great. If he does only one I'm a bit disappointed but alright. If he doesn't do a single Lambeau leap then clearly he's not good enough to start 😛

If we didn't have B-Jack, i would have been MUCH more worried.
I think he will do fine! He's chomping at the bit!

This must be the Grant effect. 1200 yards is a pretty big season for most backs. Jackson getting to 1200 yards, even if he does stay healthy, isn't something I just see happening.

1200 yds is 75 yds per game. if he gets 17 to 20 carries a game, then this is pretty doable. many of these guys miss the 1200 because of the lack of carries (featured back etc.), but it's "only" 3.75 yds per carry, if you get 20 in a game.

I expect Jackson to make good reads and solid cuts.

I DO expect him to go down relatively easy like Grant because he IS a smaller guy. But I expect him to actually FIGHT for more.

I expect him to continue to be the best pass blocking RB on the team as well as the best receiving RB.

I also expect him to get hurt sometime soon since that's been an unfortunate pattern.

I expect him to result in 2 TD shots Sunday as well.

3 requests:

1. Please don't get injured.

2. Please don't fumble every 3rd play.

3. Please run north-south.

That's it. The production will follow.

1,067 yards rushing
370 yards receiving

11 total TD's

Jackson gives us the ability to not be so obvious when running passes involving the back including screen plays which Grant couldn't do as well as B Jack

20 carries a game from here on out would give him 318. That's more than Ryan Grant has had at any point of his career.

Let's go with, what I think, will be a realistic YPC over an entire season, based on what I've seen from Brandon so far. I'd guess 3.9 right now. Maybe 4.0. That means you still have to get him 300 carries.

So Brandon would have to get just about all the carries. Kuhn will take some right now. If Starks gets back off the PuP list, he'll take some more carries, as well, I imagine.

Then there's the pretty strong possibility that we'll run it less often than we're doing now. You don't want to make your weakness your offense spearpoint. With the passing game we have, I wouldn't mind a 66/33 distribution.

Although the gameplan last sunday was different than that, as we ran it 30 times and passed it 28.
