CM3 got one sack against Kurt Warner in that Playoff game and that was our only sack of the game.

One more sack may have been a win for us.

I strongly believe that there's truth to what you said there. Hopefully year #2 in the 3-4 is the difference maker. It seems that we kept "barely missing" sacks last year. Timing off by a split second.

My thoughts exactly.

I like Mike, don't get me wrong. But if I can say what my main criticism is of his coaching is sometimes he has someone on the ropes and doesn't go for the knock out punch.

A big criticism of Bellichick is that he pounds on teams long after they're dead. Well, I'd much rather err on the side of killing someone who's already dead then letting a team come back to life when they're near death.

I can't tell you how many times last year I went into halftime damn near exhilarated by our first half performance, only to see our second half game plan be 'pound the rock until you punt'. I can understand that McCarthy would want to try to take control of a game through running once we're ahead, but I can't for the life of me understand why you would get away from a game plan that was near-unstoppable.

So, in summary - agreed!

Me too, Rodgehodge.

I may change my answer. Toughest opponent this year - the Saints in the Championship Game. It better be in Lambeau instead of New Orleans. We need home field advantage.

I don't know if last night's game was a fluke or if their D is really that good. We'll find out as the season progresses. Their D was mediocre last year but so far this year, it's looking pretty solid. Their D made some good adjustments in that game last night.

We all know their O was the best in the NFL last year.

I'm loving the optimism. I'm not so sure the Saints are going to make the NFC championship though. It felt like they lost that kind of...electric, playmaking spark? Not quite sure how to put it.

SO, who will we face in the NFC championship??!

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a team like the 49ers made it. They could be this year's version of the '09 Jets - good defense and a serviceable offense.

The Jets on paper should be, the Patriots because of coaching could be, but the Queen rivalry will be.
