Baby Shower......I'm going tubing!!

My wife is having a baby shower at our house tonight for the daughter of a good friend of ours. I'm not really into baby showers, wedding showers, or any kind of shower for that matter, so my grandson; Murphi the wonder Yorkie; and me are hitting the Bitterroot River at the bottom of our hill for some exciting tubing.

It's 90 degrees right now and the river is probably running at about 12 inches depth so this should be fun. Murphi has her own doggie tube, life vest and swim goggles so she is set.
Got the doggie tube in Spokane earlier this summer. It's about 18 inches across, has a canvas/rubber bottom for her to sit in, and a horn on it so she can warn off rampaging moose and bear. She actually can honk it with her mouth.....gets a good grip and for hours all you hear is "ooga, ooga."

We'll float about 3 miles which should take us to sundown.

Gotta love living out here.

You can tube in 12 inches of water? That river must have a very sandy bottom.

EDIT: My wife just asked me what i typed.....i read it to her.....you should have SEEN the "I don't believe you typed that" look i just got!
