Gotta love our media. He ran back to the building because of the heat, but of course it must have been his back.

Yeah, the picture of him without pads means little out of context. Isn't he on a one-a-day schedule anyway? Who's to say this isn't after his first practice or simply after the fatigue issue?

Until there's some serious evidence of another injury, let's cut the guy some slack. He deserves it! It's not his fault Ted made a huge mistake in drafting him!!

I don't understand this. Why are they babying him? What do they have to lose at this point? Now is the time to see if he can handle the physical load of being a NFL defensive linemen. He needs to be participating in every drill/take every possible rep. If he happens to get injured in the process, so be it.

But babying him and holding him out of practice, at this point, does the Packers no good.

I agree with not babying them, however, is this babying him? It's not uncharacteristic for a player to be given a day off in practice. Not to mention, I think Korey Stringer passed away from something related to heat stroke.

Korey 6'4" 335

I would say holding him out was more being cautious than babying him. I don't see a red shirt on him.

I don't agree with "babying" him (which I don't think they are), but this comment is kind of silly. You want to be smart with him. If he pushes it too hard I imagine the risk of another injury increases significantly. However, if they slowly work him back in while he gets his feet under him, he could very well stay healthy for a period of time.

I agree with their approach, especially in the first week of camp, lol.

It's a very tough decision. If you baby him the problem could rear it's ugly head during the season or he could keep healing and strengthening his back and contribute the wholed season. If you push him, you could find out now if his back holds up or you may again injure him unnecessarily or cause a problem that does not show up until after the season starts. My inclination would be to start him slow, get him in shape, and then play him a good amount during the preseason.
