I was bellied up to the bar about a week ago-actually my neighbor Tim's garage-his wife is the least bitchy about "the boys" drinking and thinking...
...complaining (yet again) about the fact that our other neighbor (Ed) conned his wife into letting him get a back-hoe. ( His back-hoe is kept at a mutual friend's property about a mile from us, btw--dude is filthy rich, has serious acreage, all three of our houses would fit in his friggin' SHED, for cripes sakes)
Tim says," Me and Jana (his wife) are tired of you bitchin' about Ed's back-hoe."
"Here."
Throws me a set of keys.
"You and I are going to my home stomping grounds tomorrow."
"I'll show you where I keep your back-hoe, plus we decided you can use our hunting camp whenever you want to. You said you were gonna take up hunting again. I'll also take you to the Amish auction and market."
Tim is from Mifflin County, PA. That is REAL Amish country, not that tourist trap in Lancaster.
Hunting "camp"...
lol
The sonofabitch not only has had a back-hoe for several YEARS now, he seems to have more friggin' toys than Michael Jackson at his so-called hunting "camp."
I took some pics. The quality on many of them sucks, as I had a bad setting, apparently, but I just gotta show you what this bastard has been holding out on...Where I come from (Wisconsin) , hunting camp is well-south of "rustic"--wood stove, outhouse, bunks, prosthetic legs in sheds...you know...
Plus I want you to see where the real Amish are.
Bastard. I hate him. Sonofabitch is in Alaska rfn, fishing---I got to take him to Philadelphia International Airport day before yesterday and drive back in his car. Took several hours longer than it should have because of the tourists in Lancaster clogging up the roads..to see the Amish.
Pics to follow soon.
Camp, lol...
I gotta get a flatbed trailer. In case I need to use "my" back-hoe, lol
I bet gas mileage on a flatbed sucks. Mifflin is over an hour away from here...
Sadly, it's not a Deere. My standards are dropping rapidly. :tongue3:
