Here's the video of my competition July 3rd at "Franklin Idol".
I didn't even make it to the 2nd round. I didn't think i was THAT bad. A guy that sang "New York, New York" made the and the cut. The reason? He was OLD.
He had to be in his late 80's. So he got picked.
That's my problem i guess.......too old to beat the 20 year old beauties (and there were some real pretty young women) but too young to get the "Aww! Isn't that special? The old guy thinks he can sing!" sympathy vote! LOLOL!!!
Oh well.....here it is....you can decide for yourselves if i sucked or not! LOL!

If someone knows how to embed it, be my guest! I'm lucky i was able to even figure out how to get it on YouTube! (Took me over an hour to figure it out!)LOL!

Out of 21 people, there were only 4 guys. 2 young guys, and 2 old guys (me, one of them)
The rest were young women.
Hey.....i tried my best, and that's all i could do. I was satisfied with my performance. I don't think i could have done it any better.
In the end, that's all you can do. Try your best, and then it's out of your hands, right?
Thanks Harris, for the nice comments!

Anyway, great job as usual, Cheesey. I must say that I like your voice better on the lower songs, but this is by no means bad, either.

Sissies!?!?!
I DARE you to let someone get close to your privates with a knife!!!
WHO's the sissy???LOL!!!!

Anyway.......there were some good singers, for sure. None that i thought were THAT much better then me. Except for the "looks" part. 14 were in the next round.
I even had people come up to me and say "YOU were not sent on to the next round??? What were the judges listening too???"

Thanks Jules!
This was the first time in a competition that i went up on stage and wasn't nervous. I felt calm and confident. I wish i wouldn't have had all this other stuff going on, as THAT stuff was what was stressful. Maybe i could have enjoyed it. I DO love singing on a stage like that. And the crowd seemed to like me.
Guess i wasn't "pretty" enough!LOLOL!!!
I don't even know who they picked as the winner. After i was eliminated, we went home. I was exhausted. With all the moving, i didn't feel like waiting around 3 more hours to find out who they picked.

TheKanataThrilla (14h) : Exactly buck...Washington came up with the ball. It is just a shitty coincidence one week later
buckeyepackfan (14h) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (14h) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (14h) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (14h) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (14h) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (15h) : I think this games over
beast (15h) : Eagles sure get a lot of fumbles on kickoffs
Mucky Tundra (15h) : This game looks too big for Washington
packerfanoutwest (19h) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (19h) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (19h) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,
beast (26-Jan) : Someone pointed out, with Raiders hiring Carroll, the division games between Carroll and Jim Harbaugh are back on (who can whine more games)
beast (26-Jan) : I'm confused, Pete Carroll and Brian Schottenheimer? When Todd Monken, Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury and Zac Robinson are availab
Zero2Cool (25-Jan) : Any reason I'm catching a shot here about my intelligence?
Martha Careful (25-Jan) : thank you Mucky for sticking up for me

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.

Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you

wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
