The Green Bay Packers has moved CB Will Blackmon (knee) to safety, reports Rob Demovsky, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. He has not been able to participate in practice this offseason but expects to be ready for the start of training camp.

The Green Bay Packers have signed free-agent QB Graham Harrell (CFL), reports Greg A. Bedard, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

I have to wonder if this is a "training-camp contract" or if he's being given a bona fide chance of making the squad.

I liked the idea of Harrell last year, but I liked the idea of Brohm the year before too, so my credibility is shot.

Harrell looked good in Saskatchewan, though he didn't really want to be there and asked to be released to try the NFL again. He never played, but reports out of the Riders practices and so on were that he was doing well there.

I would like to see what he can do. From what I have seen so far, he is worth a look if nothing else. He could be good.

(Sadly, I liked the idea of Brohm too,)
