Apparently, youtube has to go over its entire database and change up the codecs a bit to make videos work on the Iphone.
Also, videos uploaded by certain parties don't even appear on your Iphone. Universal Music has all their clips blocked for viewing on Iphones, it seems.
Lastly, Apple seems to be on a quest to block every single official music video they can find, pretty much forcing you to go to Itunes to listen to your music.
That where some of the things that I found.

I've been a fan of Apple products for a long time. They're cool/design-centered. They're not Microsoft. So they start out with me in their corner.
But they seem to be doing everything they can to destroy themselves: lousy customer service; lousy product bundling (I get an iPod and there's no way to plug it in to anything but my computer for charging?). Restricting access. Screwing with developers. Forget about backward compatibiility. Giving useless AT&T a monopoly on the iPhone.
I have been waiting for something like the iPad for a long time. I almost bought it sight unseen, thinking, "Finally, I can have a touch-screen tablet to work with Keynote when I go and make presentations." Fortunately (for me, unfortunately for Apple), I checked a couple Apple boards first. And found out the Keynote version for iPad is emasculated, worse than Powerpoint. All the cool stuff that Keynote allows (and that you need significant experience/tech skills to make work in Powerpoint, if at all) -- the iWork '09 stuff....not available on iPad version.
So, in space of ten minutes I went from ready to buy the fully-tricked out version, even swallowing my hatred of AT&T, to closing the checkbook indefinitely. Fuckheads.
I hate to say it, but I wouldn't invest in the company.
The Evil Empire Microsoft is more open these days. And cool is only a necessary condition, not a sufficient one.
Fuckheads.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
