everybody put down ONE prediction for who the Packers draft in the first round (or if you think we trade out, etc...basically the first move we make) and whoever gets it right wins an automatic +1 from me.

ultimately, i just want to see on "paper" how many of us are right or how far off we are.


my prediction (just for the record) is Taylor Mayes. it's not who i want, but i have that same feeling i had last year before we drafted Raji. somehow i just knew that it was going to happen.

On the other side, if Ted thinks that this team is nearly done, he might move up a little to draft an impact player.

Man, this is a tough one. I'm going to go ahead and speculate that somehow Hughes is there, and if he is I think they'll take him. Saffold is someone I can see them grabbing in the second round (unless there's a monster run on OT and they're afraid he won't last - that might prompt a trade down or possibly a "reach" for him @ 23).

I'll go with Hughes (and likely be very wrong).
