I wonder if the NFL goes to a 17 or 18 game season if the international series would take up one of those games. For instance a team could play 8 home and 8 away games and one at a neutral venue.

Outside of London, Germany (who kept afloat NFL Europe until its demise), and Mexico I wonder what other sites could host games - maybe US cities without a franchise?

Other US cities would be a good idea, especially with a 17 games schedule. Wouldn't mind overseas games either, but I don't know if attendence would be good enough for something like 16 games over here. Maybe 1 in Germany, 1 in England and 1 in Mexico.

I wouldn't mind seeing an expanded schedule, but they would definitely have to increase roster sizes AND protect QBs more. Football is just too brutal of a game.
Goodell does want to expand the NFL overseas. Well at least internationally. We wants a team in Toronto, that's for sure. I could see Mexico City, London and maybe Tokyo. Not sure NFL teams would be too excited about that kind of jet lag, though. I know the Packers HATED having to travel to Tokyo for an exhibition game.

I was one off with my guess. Underwood is inactive whereas I had Thompson being inactive.

Well-done, massey. I was off by two guys, because I thought Swain and Rouse would sit. I'm glad I was wrong about Swain. He made a big play on the fake punt.
