I don't think Mass is underestimating him.. and personally neither am I.. I once did that with Jason Garrett.. and it is burned into my memory.

I think what is being stated is early will be better than late.. as they will/may be still in the adjustment phase.

I'm not understand why people are excited we are at the Eagles for our first game. I think we should be careful for what we ask for.

Well we already knew we had to face Philly in Philly. Catching Kolb early is a good thing.

How do you figure? He's already thrown for a couple 300 yard games filling in for McNabb. who's to say he couldn't do better with more reps with the offense as 'the guy'? More consistency with the players are you makes you better.

I think we will win the game, but I think several are underestimating the whole 'new' QB thing. Kolb is more accurate of a thrower than McNabb was and if we have secondary issues and haven't fixed our problems from last season. It will be a long game for us.

pretty sure that is our whole point. regardless of what you expect to happen with all your points about kolb, the odds say, the less experience you have the less likely you are to pull off big games. odds say its better for us to face him early rather than later. that doesn't mean it will end up true, but i'll take the odds every time.

And I think having to against a fresher QB has it's perks and downfalls. He'll come in with lots of confidence against the Packers. He's seen our team against good passing teams. It might be better to against him later in the year after his confidence has been shaken. However, that's two edged, he could GAIN confidence with more games under his belt.

There's just no real advantage either way you look at it. Well, unless you look at it one sided, then yeah it'll be easier going against him first. And I'd tend to put the odds in that direction as well.

lol read my post above. I think I mentioned something about odds. I don't remember, I just hit a bunch of random keys and pray it makes sense. It doesn't work too often though.

We knew the schedule was going to be tough but I kind of like how it worked out. Late bye week right before the toughest part of our schedule is well timed.

Mucky Tundra (8-May) : According to reports, Mel Kiper is furious that Sanders wasn't selected as the new Pope
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Time taken to get picked:
Zero2Cool (8-May) : New Pope: 2 days | Shedeur Sanders: 3 days
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Collin Whitchurch @cowhitchurch · 1h Chicago got a pope before it got a QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.

dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
