Yeh, I know the calendar says it's April....springtime, flowers, love in the air.
BULLSHIT!!! We have been under the influence of the weather pattern called El Nino or whatever, and most of the Northern tier of states has seen little or no winter since last year. We have been at 50% or under for snowfall since late October '09 and things are looking grim. Or, if you're a wildlands firefighter or aerial tanker pilot, things look good.

Last night a storm rolled in from off the coast of Alaska through the Pacific Northwest and we are getting winter now. Actually, the whole month of April has been winter so far. At my house, an official NOAA site, we had 49.6 inches of snow since October 31st. That's about 58% below normal for this time of year.

Since April 1st we have had 29.4 inches of snow here, and over 4 feet of snow at the higher elevations. I was supposed to be an official at a track meet this afternoon..........canceled, as there is 9 inches of snow on the track. This since 6am this morning.

Crap, all this, and my taxes are due on the 15th. This may be my last transmission.......I'm pulling a Montana/Idaho Freeman gig and going underground. My new name is MontanaSNAFU.

Damn Bob, drive east, to Paradise. It's spring here. Just send that moisture to the Yellowstone and Missouri so we can get our reservoir to full capacity.

Agree with DakotaT.

But for God's sake Bob, whatever you do make damn sure that you stay on I-90 at Billings MT.

Do not, and I repeat do not, get on I-94.
That would take you through that God forsaken wasteland, otherwise known as North Dakota.
And as bad as that place is, the inhabitants of North Dakota make neanderthals look like Mensa members, especially around Bismarck.

Uh Vikesrule........my wife is from North Dakota. She's been with me for 45 years. Must be some sense coming out of that state. I've been on I-94 and believe me, South Dakota is absolutely the pits. State tree is the telephone pole, talking billboards advertising Wall Drug, ceramic deer announcing you're getting close to Mt. Rushmore, and then you drop into that state called Minnesota. Rather drive through downtown Baghdad. LOL

DakotaT.....can't promise anything about waterlevels, but look for the Missouri and Yellowstone to be down. Lake Sakakawea could be just a pond by August.

Vikesrule, there's a reason 1/3 of South Dakota is Indian Reservation. But it sure was amusing watching Bob bitch slap you.

I do have a question, if Bob married a North Dakota girl, and I married a Minnesota girl; does that mean VR married a Sconi? I'm not going to get into gender, cause I'm not sure which way you swing big boy.

Bob, I deeply regret that I failed to mention that I was referring only to male of the species that inhabit that God forsaken region.
And it it is well documented that the aforementioned males reach a peak of nonintellectual capacity around age 40..... and sadly remain there.

But it sure was amusing watching Bob bitch slap you.

[-X Surely one of the above mentioned males of North Dakota, even with their extremely limited comprehension level, should understand the meaning of "Bitch Slap"

Beware, this oft-confused term. Consider the structure of the descriptor preceding the verb.

"Contrary to most definitions, the 'bitch' is describing the 'slap' rather than the destination.
When you 'bitch slap' someone, you are slapping him or her like a woman would! Scratching, hair pulling, cursing, and crying generally follow a well-placed bitch slap. "

To imply that South Dakota is worse to drive through than North Dakota is a mix of a whole bunch of bullshit. To top it off, it forces one to question the sanity of those making that claim. Speaking of driving through No Dak, what do you get when you mix LSD with sauerkraut? A trip to North Dakota.
