I just do not get it.

By “Get It.” I mean…. “I just do not get it.” Not this year. I expected to “Get it.” But, to date, so far this season, I have not got it.

Oh you know the feeling. We have all had the feeling. I did “Get it.” last year, and the year before. It was even there the year before the year before. I would wake up in the morning, roll out of bed and “Get It.”

I would “Get” that feeling that the Packers were going to lose in the playoffs.

Not this year… Not one single moment, or one single morning this season did I “Get It.”

I may be wrong, and often am. But I highly recommend you all hang on, tight, this is going to be one hell of a drive to the desert.

Is there a team that can really stand up to The Packers' overall gauntlet at this moment? I think not, and I think they only get better as the season progresses.

The only team that could beat this years Packers team is the 1976 Raiders. And that is a compliment to the 2014 Packer team.

I think you have a short memory,

The Packers looked pretty pitiful early this year.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Of course, one significant injury to Aaron Rodgers and the whole thing could come tumbling down, but I don't see that happening. In addition to the defense shaping up, I actually see improvement in the O Line. Rarely in all of the Rodgers years have I seen him get Brady-type time in the pocket, but that has happened a few times in recent games - enabling him to pick apart defenses and hit some long ones. And of course, we all know, teams basically don't dare blitz him, or he will make them pay severely. Other years, a four man rush was enough to disrupt the Packers, but that is less true this year. The other thing I have seen is that in the past few weeks, they have FINALLY gotten away from this silly run first crap, and let Aaron be Aaron - and by passing 'em crazy first, Eddie Lacy has benefited too with big holes to run through once Rodgers has shock and awed 'em into submission.

This is not 2011,2012 or 2013.

I have been saying for 2 weeks, this could be turning into something special.

I'm not going to start worrying about how The Packers played in week 1-3.

There is no comparison to the way they are playing RIGHT NOW!!!

Right Now is what matters!!!

The Packers defense will still be a liability against certain quarterbacks. Most defenses are. But if the Packers show up and play to their potential, they will be very difficult to beat. If they show up unprepared and fail to play to their ability, then of course they could be beaten. It's just a matter of preparation and execution, as always. But in theory the Packers stack up against any other team in NFL. I do think they might be slightly overrated as a result of the past two games, but they are still very good.

By the way, where has uddfa been? Do I have still have him on ignore or something?

Something I notice often with teams that finish strong - they often get their noses rubbed in a big steaming pile on an odd weekend, and follow it up with a great finish.

New England has done similar this season - yet nobody questioned them when they got back on track. Why should it be so different for the Pack? Granted they haven't faced a great top 5 talent since, but that is a stupid reason to write them off so abruptly.
