Sorry everyone, work has been crazy and I havent been on here really since I posted this thread. So let me please respond to everyone...

WPR: thanks for the pledge and the support. Pledges have been overwhelming.... Great job in losing your weight..I will do the same. Have started running and hate it but I see improvement.

Formo: If Favre can get run over by Packer players in 2010, I can run the marathon.

LT: You forgot "with a cherry on top"!

4Pack: No, I don't want "some tail"........ I want ALL THE TAIL!!!
(actually, I already do quite well for myself because of my "personality")


Wade: Thank you too for the pledge. You guys are awesome. Dont worry about how long it takes Wade, ounces equal pounds....

Cheesemiester: I will let you know when I know...I think it is Grafton high school, not sure. Thanks for the encouragement. No surgery for me...I will either run the marathon or die trying..... no in between for me.

I have been running for a couple of weeks now and am up to walking 5 minutes then running 3 minutes for 30 minutes. It is an 8 week program to get me up to running 2 miles nonstop. Then I start a 24 week program that takes me from 2 miles to 26.2 miles on race day.

God, I hate running...but like hitting yourself in the head, boy does it feel good to stop!

By the way, I will be starting to update my blog if you care to see it. I also touch on a lot of other areas too...

lol tripp - but how BIG is that uh um personality of yours?? ;)

seriously though - great job with the whole deal. personally, i've also started walking on a daily basis. can't do the run cuz of my torn acl but i can still get out there & walk!

seriously though - great job with the whole deal. personally, i've also started walking on a daily basis. can't do the run cuz of my torn acl but i can still get out there & walk!
