I would be happy to bring Vasher to camp and improve our depth.

Heard Manning is kind of pissed down there too... make it a twofer.. lol.

Yeah, I dunno. I just think with the free agent chitter chatter, it might be better off here. He won't post here, I can almost promise you that. The guy hates me. He never responded to me at PC.

Don't feel bad.. I got the boot at PC... not sure why but three accounts.. three times they were terminated.

So screw'em.. lol.

The thing about Chatters is the amount of ass kissing one must do for Ms. Patty. If you disagree with her you may as well of contracted lepracy. I like this site cause you can tell Zero to basically go F himself and he doesn't get mad, just shrugs it off and gets you back another way. I do read Chatters because they have good posters much like in here. Chatters seems a little more pro Favre, pro Sherman; which is why I wouldn't really last there either.

I am happy to hear this:

Some whispers are starting to surface that the Packers want to add a WR to take over for Donald Driver as soon as 2011. I heard that they know Driver can't play forever and they will need to find a replacement for him to start opposite of Greg Jennings. I heard they feel James Jones and Jordy Nelson are nice complimentary players, but want to add a faster player opposite of Jennings.

"go.pack.go." wrote:

I still think Jones is underrated. He's football fast, capable of burning CBs. Jones will eventually replace Driver. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've been thinking this since '07. Let's not forget last year he had a 74 yard TD. His rookie year, he had a 79 yard TD against an All-Pro CB.

He's also tougher than people realize. Not easy to bring down in the open field.

We sometimes forget that WRs take awhile to develop. Look at Driver for instance. He wasn't any good until his fourth year. From that year on, he had 1000+ yards every season except for '03 when we were a run first team.

I will post here (to the dismay of some). I didn't start posting here because I had business to attend to. I actually didn't find this site until I registered.

I don't "hate" anyone. In-fact, since I have gotten more spiritual, I have let all that go.

But so far there are a lot of knowledgeable people here (or that is how it seems) and I look forward to trying and contribute what I can, when I can.

I will post a new OTS every Thurs night or Friday morning depending on my schedule, so just check my website and check. (I just posted my new mock FWIW).

As I said in our PM exchange, if you would like to post the content here as well, I can set that up for you. Even though some of us think rumors are full of doo-doo we all can't wait to read them, myself included.

I love rumors at this time of year when nothing is happening in the football world with regard to the Green Bay Packers.
Whether or not they come true, they give you something to read and think about,
I don't want to wish my life away but I can hardly wait for the draft and mini camps so there is some real news to follow.

Manning would be interesting. Especially because he can return some kicks, as well. He's a pretty average safety, though. Someone who would be nice for depth, but nothing more. roblem is, he's a 2 year starter and started 10 games last year. If he isn't happy over in Chicago, I asume it's about not being a fulltime starter anymore.

And I wouldn't really want Vasher. He's constantly injured. And the injuries he's had have already taken a toll on him. That Bears secondary is absolutely horrible and he still can't get a starting job.

Now I know that most of you wouldn't want him as a starter, anyway, but I don't think that he has much left. Next to that, it seems so pointless to put a 28 year old CB, who's always injured, and has obviously passed his prime at dime, while we have a lot of young, promising guys on the roster.

Woodson - Harris - Williams - Underwood - Lee - Blackmon - Bush - Bell - Ford.

Now, I know that a lot of these guys won't make it next year, most likely, but with Underwood up and coming and Williams looking like he could be the nr. 2 CB on just about every team, I'm not too worried.

Even if Al doesn't come back as strong as we'd like him to, I'd still prefer to take a CB in the draft. It's such a deep draft at the position.

Woodson - Harris/Williams - Williams/Harris - Underwood. wouldn't upset me too much, either. I think that Underwood is good enough for the dime spot if he has bulked up a little during the off-season.
