His patience is what really amazes me. He stays behind his blockers, doesn't run into huge piles. I don't know if he can outrun everyone vertically in the NFL, but that patience is a very good sign in a speedy runner like that.
Then again, it is only a highlight reel.
I've seen a lot of drafts in which this kid goes in the top half of the 2nd round. It's going to be interesting to see how he does at the combine, because I think that he's one of those guys that has the potential to go all the way up to Spiller's spot or all the way down to the 3rd round, based sololy on his combine and pro day.
The one thing that, I think, will make this pick unlikely is Brandon Jackson. I don't think that Jacobs is this type off guy, but with his emergence as a 3rd down back and pass catcher, does Ted really want to spend a high pick on yet another RB? I very much doubt that, as much as I'd like to see it.
