The first couple of years he was in Green Bay, people were blinded by the "ZOMG" factor because Atari Bigby, when he is on target, hits like a Mack truck. But highlight-reel hits can only compensate for deficiencies in your fundamentals for so long. After that, the lapses in critical situations just start to pile up.

I don't think Bigby will be going anywhere. Mike McCarthy has been mentioning in his press conferences that he believes Bigby is playing at a "high level".

Things started off poorly, and instead of trusting each other and staying focused on their jobs, everyone was trying to help out everywhere else. You could see the scheme break down, with ILBs abandoning the middle of the field to help a 3rd or 4th corner cover a guy, etc.

Perhaps Lee or Underwood will show up next year but I'm not overly optimistic,
Then there is the safety issue.

Pittsburgh showed there was a major chink in the defensive armor. Warner showed that he's a better quarterback than Roethlisberger and exploited it.

I don't know why there's the chink, whether it's talent, coaching, or execution. But it definitely is one that needs fixing.

Because, IMO, while both Big Ben and Warner are quality quarterbacks, they are not -- despite the fawning of announcers and ESPN know-nothings -- the topmost tier of NFL quarterbacks. And if you've got a chink that the second-tier quarterbacks can look like Top 5 alltime quarterbacks exploiting, you've got a problem.
