Well you gotta dance with the one you brang, so it doesn't matter what he has done the past year, it's what he does tomorrow and beyond.

Jet's punter is sick, they have Jay Feely punting today, so you never know what is going to happen, the future is now, screw the past.

Kapinos and Crosby are going to get some competition heading into training camp next year. Our kicking game the past couple of years has been pedestrian at best and I can't conceive Thompson being complacent in letting it continue as such.

Jon Ryan just signed a 6 year, $9.1 million contract extension with the Seahawks. Looks like Ted Thompson let a good one get away.

Maybe our problem with with the ST coaches and not the ST players.

A lot of super bowl team's punters have poor stats because their team wins the field position battle so the punter can't just boom it all the time. They have to try and down it inside the 20 and directional kick. Poor teams who play on their own side of the field have punters that can just kick it away.

Well, since Ted Thompson would never pay 9 mil for a punter anyway, the way he did he can say, "well, when we let him go he wasn't that good."

I think the best that Packers can hope for punter-wise is that Thompson gets lucky and finds some guy who's better than every other teams think for a few years.

That is, that he goes out, finds some Derrick Frost/Jeremy Kapinos type and, lo and behold, he turns out to be the next Ray Guy.

Usually don't get down on a player that I don't expect much from. Not even Bush. Even though he would be better if ST didn't have so many damn penalties.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

buckeyepackfan (8m) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (10m) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.

Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
