As a group we were wrong. I do not remember if I selected between 5-10 or 10-20.
If I chose 5-10 it would have been because of Capers past success but I do not remember if I thought he would do it again.

I wouldn't hold it against the fanbase to predict a 10-20 performance. We were 20th in total defensive yardage, 22nd in points allowed. Given the unknown and that we thought our players were better suited to a 4-3 (really?), I think cautious optimism was warranted. But another team, and another Capers success. He really does know his stuff.

I wouldn't hold it against anyone for voting 10-20 either. I often forget that we have a new coach, and a new scheme being run by players who were brought in to play a completely different defense. The fact that we've ended up where we are on defense speaks to Capers skills as a coach and our players willingness to learn and the flat out athletic talent of many of our players. It has been an exciting year. Let's hope our defensive dominance continues into the playoffs.
