That's the tape I sent to them, although the one i sent was a slightly different angle. It's the one my wife shot with our little camcorder.
It ain't "metal".

I USED to have quite a high range. But since i got older, i'm better at the low notes. I did Johnny Cash' "Folsum Prison Blues" at the semi finals, and the judges loved the way i could hit the low notes.
I did "Heaven" for the finals, as my wife's favorite group is "Los Lonely Boys", and i promised her that if I made it to the finals, i would sing it. And i ended up winning! So it was pretty neat. I'm hoping that i can get the "America's Got Talent" people to at least give me a shot.
I've heard alot worse singers on that show then me on TV.
Like i said, i have nothing to lose in trying, right? I mean, you have NO chance if you don't at least try.

I haven't heard anything yet. I imagine they got alot of tapes to go over. The show doesn't go on till I believe October, so I don't know when they contact people.
If I hear anything, I'll let you know.
