Welcome Back Young Man.

No Internet? Where the hell were you living? It the place available now?

I could use a 1 year hiatus in the woods... Living off the land, and fishing every day.

Welcome back mate.

A year without internet, I think I'd go crazy!

We were renting a house on a berry farm in the middle of the country in Iowa. I had a program that allowed me to use my cellphone as an internet modem, but it couldn't load hardly any pages, especially this one.
Someone moved in as soon as we moved out, and I feel sorry for them. We moved out because our landlords were bats**t crazy. They're brother and sister. The sister is possibly bi-polar with anger issues, and the brother is massively passive aggressive. He threatened to shoot my dog because HIS OWN DOG was barking. They had issues. I had a really bad feeling when I met the sister to sign the lease, and I should have trusted it. Our first clue should have been that the two previous renters wanted out of their leases early.
So, we booked it out of there after the last of many outbursts, put all of our stuff in storage and moved into my in-law's basement. We're going to save up for a down payment and buy a house. I'm done with landlords. I could write a book on ridiculous landlords. They sent us our deposit back and it was about $200 bucks less than it should have been. They claimed they had to clean the entire house, top to bottom, after we moved out. Well they didn't know that we took pictures of the whole house the day we moved out. My wife called them and told them we had pictures and they haven't called us back. But my wife and I decided it's worth giving up the $200 to never have to deal with them again. I have enough stories to go on for quite a while.

Hazer has it right!
I'm doing ok. Had open heart quadruple bypass surgery. Thats where they cut your breast bone, use a rib spreader, and then use other veins from your body to bypass the clogged heart arteries. Not fun, i can tell you.
It's been 10 months now, and i STILL hurt. Plus, they only fixed 4 of the 6 blockages.
But i lost 30 pounds, which is nice! And in August i won the "Ozaukee Idol" local singing contest. Here it is

So it hasn't been a dull year for me.

Well, I see alot of new people have come to this place since I was last able to come here on a regular basis, so I'm not sure how many people are left from when I use to come here. We moved out of the boondocks so we finally have internet access again. I look forward to chatting with everyone again, especially with the great season the Pack are having! Feels good to be able to talk with Packer fans again!

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
