I guess I don't really think he'd be much of a change of pace. I'd take Green over him any day.

I still want to play too! I just don't think any NFL team cares. I am afraid that's the feeling teams feel about Shaun as well. It's a shame, I really liked him too.

Same. He's a great guy, but he's done. He showed that in 2007 with Seattle and in 2008 with the Redskins. It's not going to get any better, anymore, I'm afraid.

Wanting to play, and being capable of playing, are two very seperate things. Guy was an absolute hack his last several years...and even in his prime, he always ran soft for a big man.

I hate Shaun Alexander with a passion. Overrated to the maximum. Thought he was a waste of a large frame.

He had an awesome year or two. And that was it. Not to mention the offensive line he ran behind.

Yeah, he fell off the end of the earth real fast. Good one year and complete crap the next...maybe at best a 3rd stringer for a very very desperate team.

Well....i like the guy ALOT! (That doesn't mean i'd want him to play here now)
True story.....back when the Seahawks were in the super bowl, they played the Packers in GB (2005). They played some of their scrubs, and had nothing to play for. We won. I was lucky enough to be there and got a picture of Alexander scoring what at the time was an NFL record for TD's in a season. I made 2 copies, ans sent them to him, asking him to autograph one and to keep the other for himself. I also sent a SASE to make it easy for him. I didn't really expect to get it back. But between the NFC title game and the super bowl, i got the signed photo back in the mail!
I thought that was pretty nice of him, especially considering what he was busy with at the time.

I don't think that any NFL team really cares that he still wants to play.

Fan Shout
Mucky Tundra (now) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (2m) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (3m) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
packerfanoutwest (4m) : another crap halftime show
TheKanataThrilla (4m) : I think it is over, but then I think of Atlanta and want Philly to go in with the same intensity in the second half
Mucky Tundra (13m) : And with a Pass Rush that might as well be on a milk cartoon and no Jaire
Martha Careful (14m) : I cant help but feel good about how well the Packers D played in Philly during the playoffs
Mucky Tundra (24m) : this game is over
Mucky Tundra (28m) : This might be the kill shot here
Mucky Tundra (37m) : oh that's such a bad penalty for KC after getting the 3rd down stop
TheKanataThrilla (45m) : Philly DL has come to play
TheKanataThrilla (46m) : Ceoper DeJean with the INT scored...bad memories of draft night
Mucky Tundra (50m) : ok scratch that
Mucky Tundra (56m) : Game feels like last years Super Bowl: 49ers started off in control, moved the ball well but didn't have much of a lead to show for it
TheKanataThrilla (57m) : KC jumped and they call it on Eagles. WTF refs
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : If he was offside why did you let him pop the QB?
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : I like that Eagles are controlling time of possession so far.
Mucky Tundra (1h) : If the Eagles are going to win, this is how they do it: jump all over the Chiefs and don't let it turn into a close one
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : Bad throw created that penalty.
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : Amazed Philly got that hit to the helmet call.
packerfanoutwest (1h) : refs just called an OPI,,,bullshit
dhazer (2h) : final score Chefs 24 Eagles 21 Refs 3
Mucky Tundra (4h) : feels like it hurts everyone but starters
Mucky Tundra (4h) : *cut down on snaps that
Mucky Tundra (4h) : beast, no not at all. Just seems counterproductive to cut down on snaps to help back ups get playing time and get potential money after cuts
Zero2Cool (5h) : So, Jets tell Rodgers they're moving on? QB2 for Packers haha
Zero2Cool (5h) : Hey, I'm not saying it's the great idea. I'm saying, it's what I think will happen.
beast (6h) : You think they give a crap enough about bubble guys to make rules for them?
Mucky Tundra (6h) : So games that will be even *more* sloppy the first two or three weeks of the season?
Zero2Cool (10h) : I think you can figure most starters won't be playing either of the two games at all.
Mucky Tundra (22h) : is 2 preseason games enough for bubble guys to make a mark?
packerfanoutwest (8-Feb) : true.forgot about that
Zero2Cool (8-Feb) : Unless they reduce preseason from three to two games.
packerfanoutwest (8-Feb) : If Goodell allows an 18 game season, there will be a SB on Valentines Day
Zero2Cool (8-Feb) : Perfect football player. - Ron Wolf on Sharpe
Zero2Cool (8-Feb) : Sharpe didn't celebrate TD's ... crazy I didn't realize it back then
Martha Careful (7-Feb) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe
Mucky Tundra (7-Feb) : beast, you didn't miss much with that one. Raiders didn't update their play calls, audibles etc so the Bucs D steamrolled
buckeyepackfan (6-Feb) : That was quick, one thing Jordan said was he doesn't agree with Josh Jacobs, that the Packers need to go get a proven #1 wr
buckeyepackfan (6-Feb) : J-10VE on ESPN NOW!
beast (6-Feb) : I was young and didn't get enough sleep... fell asleep during the Buccaneers/Raiders Super Bowl
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : Patriots / Panthers feeling is what I got. didn't watch that one either
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : Easier to get a camera on her in the suite where she can't impact the game by being distraction???
TheKanataThrilla (5-Feb) : This is the least excited I have been in a long time for a Super Bowl. Unfortunately they both can't lose.
wpr (5-Feb) : So why don;'t they have her on the sidelines and doing the halftime fandango instead of sitting on her but in a $1,000,000 suite?
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : Think more eyes on Super Bowl with Swift fans pulling for her TE boyfriend?
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : She dating the TE of the Chiefs.
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : Taylor Swift has millions of fans, yeah?
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : They did. They are going to show the post production Sunday with plethora of ads.
wpr (5-Feb) : I thought KC already won
