Please please PLEASE take Tramon Williams off of punts. We can risk Jordi at this point, but not Tramon.
Interesting about Thompson, btw. Apparently he's sucked because of injuries.

* On Wells: Will take today and tomorrow to see if he's ready on the short week. Evan Dietrich-Smith took all the reps today.

* On Clifton: Think he'll be ready to go. Did limited work today and will work tomorrow.

* Keep Tramon Williams on punt returns: Will look at who's available. Nelson, Woodson also are options.

* Go with Brad Jones at LOLB: Will take the week to look at that. Have options with Poppinga, Thompson.

* What's gone on with Thompson: Clearly the setbacks were medical at end of training camp. "He's starting to look like I thought he was going to be." Been doing very good job on special teams. Will be good to have him up.

* On Josh Bell: Could be up, definitely. Been impressive in short time here. Will see on film today. Definitely an option to play Thursday.

At this moment in time, I don't think the Packers should be putting any of our starting DBs on punt return. That would by far be the dumbest move.

Maybe that is something to consider with two open spots.. a jitterbug type of player to add to the return game.

I agree. I think we could use some jitterbug on the field to liven things up a bit.
