Almost the saddest thing for me is that this could well be the last game either play for the Packers.

But short term we are no doubt in a hole on D. Especialy at CB. This year our nickel corner has been on the field 50 per cent of the time. That is now Jarrett Bush.

If we start relying on the dime defense, what will that do to our pass rush, which hasn't been exactly stellar this year? I hope we're not in for a precipitous drop in our sack output.

Why would we go more to the dime, when we lost our top corner? I look for more Big Okie. The young guys will be fine, though. They'll give up some plays, but I think they'll rally.

We'll wait for Anthony Smith to get cut again and then convert Collins to CB.

I think our young guys will rally around each other. Woodson and Capers will have them ready. Practice game on Thursday.

Well we're just really thin at S and now CB... and the coach ether have to fine a LB that can cover TEs or trust Bush to cover someone... I'm not sure which I would rather try right now... than again Chillar is back and Jones did a pretty good job in so maybe the LB coverage will work...

Honestly, I think it's going to come down to safety help on third downs and other big passing situations for Bush. Our LBs are going to need to step up and be reliable against TEs and slower WRs, and a lot of our options for corner and safety blitzes are going to be taken away.

That being said, I can't recall seeing Bush blitz often, or maybe he's just never hit home. Is he any good at blitzing? If you're going to send someone on a blitz, it might as well be your biggest liability in pass defense...

lasdt night Bill micheals told me he got a text from the locker room. Both players are done for the season. MRI's are just to confirm and protocal.

This was exactly the thought I had when he went down with this injury. What little trade value he had remaining has evaporated. Given our coaching staff's extraordinary reluctance to take away a player's starting position for an injury
(do I really need to name names?), I think we can be fairly confident that Kampman will return next season.

I'm hoping Kampy is back. I said earlier in this thread that I think Harris is worth more to the team than Kampy. I take that back. I'm realizing both are some of my favorite Packers and I want both of them coming back next year as Packers.

This is just all around horrible. To even compare the two losses of the players is laughable because you will all see how much Kampman still affects offenses. Brad Jones has a slight advantage on pass coverage and that is all.

Bleeding from the ear and a serious knee injury. I would be more concerned about the bleeding from the ear. Sometimes people take concussions or any type of head injury lightly. Kampman should have taken more time off IMO (same goes for Brian Westbrook).

Al Harris will also be a huge loss just because of his aggressive play type. Now the Packers are thin at CB and S....this might get ugly (hopefully not). I am hoping that the young guys can pull through and hopefully some veteran leadership from the likes of Woodson, Hawk and Barnett can come into play.

Yeah, when I heard that bleeding from the ear yesterday I freaked out. Kampy's an intelligent man and that really worried me. Then that image of him giving thumbs up as he was carted off the field sunk in my stomach. I was really hoping that won't be the last image I have of him as a Green Bay Packer.

All we can do now is pray for both of their healths and hope next year, they are 100% AND wearing the sacred Green and Gold.

Aaron Kampman and Al Harris will miss the rest of the season.

Kampman, my more favorite of the two is the least of my concern.
Harris, huge concern regarding our nickel defense because Tramon is on the field most of the time anyhow.
