Oh lord, please don't let this be the end of Al's career. Al Harris may be almost 35 years old, but damn, there isn't many that are better than him right now.

I also feel like crying that when I saw Kampman wave to the crowd, I knew that that may be the last time he ever sets foot on Lambeau wearing that uniform.

Terrible day, injury wise.

I actually think this increases the chances Kampman will be back next season. He's likely not going to get a big pay day coming off a major injury..

I certainly don't hope so.

Great guy, don't wish this injury on him, but I hope that he'll still generate some sort of trade value. He's still a premier DE.

McCarron just mentioned an interesting point. If Kampy is indeed out for the year (and they're saying at least 2-4 weeks) the Packers might activate Cyril Obiozor from the Practice Squad.
This dude is raw, but he's a 1%er. LOL. From what I understand he's one of those crazy "Wayne Simmons" types of guys. Like the Hansen Brothers from the movie Slapshot. Might add a little spark.

On July 20, 2008, Taylor was traded to the Washington Redskins for a second-round pick in 2009 and a sixth-round pick in 2010.

I don't know if we'll get that, but a 3rd is the least we'll be getting.

Maybe from the exact same team.

That's always more than nothing. And he's not a liability at OLB, but not far from it either. We have to get rit of him if you ask me. Just from a personel standpoint, of course. He doesn't fit in our defense anymore.

I hope we don't cut Harris just because of his age and his injury. One of my favorite players. And I love how he looks at the QB and tells him "not on me man, not today" or something along those lines. I also saw him today telling Crabtree the same thing.

Oh man, with these two injuries, I feel like we just lost. I can't stop thinking about it.

I hope not either. He's been a solid player, 2 Pro Bowls, and I don't remember his stats but they were phenomenal over the years; something like 6 TDs given up over 3 years, which is as close to nothing as you can get.

I hope you're right. A 2nd would be awesome but I just can't see that. Either way I agree with you, we need to get rid of Kampman next year and I hope we get a good pick in return.
