Yes, I also believe that AJ Hawk deserves a ton of credit. You can see what he did for Barnett on that sack he had....If it weren't for AJ, that sack would have never happened.

I think maybe it's time to let Hawk pad his stats instead of making him the block-eater. Lets see what he can do getting to the QB.

I never really felt that AJ was ever bad.....like some others did here. I don't buy into that bullshit that he should live up to his #5 draft position. He has contributed to this team very well since he has been here.

When you are about to blast Hawk, consider this: Who would be our middle linebacker opposite of Barnett?

Yes, Brandon Chiller is a very good linebacker, but I don't think he is nearly as physical as Hawk is; I believe that he is primarily a pass situation linebacker. And Bishop is a great physical presence, but I don't see him as a starter; to vulnerable in coverage.

I am done with my rant, and I am happy Hawk is on my team.

CM3 is quickly becoming one of my favorite players as well. I love the way he plays the game.

Hopefully it continues!

I hope Brad Jones becomes his book end for the next 10 years. 09 would really be an amazing draft, especially if TJ Lang continues his improvement.

CM3 just has incredible football awareness and intelligence to go along with his superb physical tools.

Brad Jones was listed with a concussion in one of the reports. Hope he's ok. Could be one reason Kampy's getting the nod.
Brad Jones has the potential to become my favorite player.

I like Finley, Sitton, and Matthews.

I'm on the fence about Lang, but for a rookie he's got a chance to become a legit starter. If that happens, I'll like him a lot more.

I don't think anyone ever though AJ Hawk was bad I just think everyone believed he could be better. And if Sunday is a sign of the future he certainly can be better than he has been.

Is it just me or did players realise that in Kamps absence they had to step up.?

It seems that we have ben over-reliant on Kamp and the other payers relaxed when he was on the field expecting him to be his usual dominant force. But Kamp playing OLB has changed the way he plays and he is still adapting to his new discipline.

The D looked the best it ha all season with the LB's playing hard and awesome all game.
