I just got my internet back, and I haven't been able to say anything about the Cowboys game.

I would just like to say SHUT UP to all of the people who were starting to doubt the coaching staff and some of the players.

Whoever wanted McCarthy fired in the middle of the season needs to stop for a second and think about what they were wishing for. Guys, you are putting us in the SAME exact category as the REDSKINS! The REDSKINS for God's sake!

SHUT UP all of you who were calling for Dom Capers' head. (I don't remember who, but I saw a few posts where people were hating on Capers.)

I love how when we win a game, all is happy around here, however, when we lost to the Bucs, everyone was wanting someone fired.

I don't know about you all, but I'm still on board with coach McCarthy. I don't see anything wrong with him. Sure, his play calling is sometimes questionable, but damn, don't fire the guy!

It pisses me off sometimes that when we lose a game, everyone goes crazy, calling for heads.

Go on any NFL message board. This is how it is. If you can't deal with it, maybe message boards aren't your thing šŸ™‚ If we lose next week, I promise you, many will be calling for MM's head again. If we win, it will be calm again.

Well, just go on with your bad self.

I'm shuttin' up. I don't want no ass-whippin' or anything, lol

Why don't you tell us all how you really feel, lol

(I like a man with a strong position on matters, Jacob)

Also, not to be a negative nelly but MM has nothing to do with the defense. He is heavily involved in the offense and our offense sucked big time last week. If not for the defense putting up such a huge performance against a good offensive team, we would have been blown out.

I'll stay in the middle on this one for now.

Capers had an amazing game, but will he go back to his vanilla schemes once Kampman gets back? Will there be a sense of urgency to sent these exotic blitzes, since he appears to overvalue Kampman a little. And one more thing, how will our pressure be against a team that doesn't have an O-line that's decimated by injuries, like the Cowboys' was during most of our game.

I don't know about McCarthy yet, either. I have to say that I liked the way he approached this game and he looked a little fired up from time to time.

Again, this is just one game. I didn't jump on the fire McCarthy bandwagon after our loss against the Vikings, and I won't fully support him after one good win against the Cowboys.

Overall, he's been above average. Normally, that'd be great, but this is football. When someone is above average, it means that there's someone out there who's better, as well. And there are some guys out there who'd fit with our team better at this point.

I still want McCarthy canned sooner rather than later.

The team can win with Capers in charge for the rest of the season, and Philbin calling plays.

I am worried that if the team rallies, we will be stuck with McCarthy again next year. I have been worried about him since 07' with the play calling early in Dallas, and our performance for the majority of the NFCC game.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

The only problem I have with people calling for McCarthey's head is that I would like them to produce a viable option for a replacement. I don't think it realistic that Cowher or Shanahan comes to GB. I also believe that injuries play a huge factor on this game, and a coach can't be held responsible for bad karma.

McCarthey's failure comes with fielding the current offensive line to go against Minnesota's defensive line, and also the running back position leaves a lot to be desired. We have the talent to match the Vikings, but because the O-line is incredibly overmatched, the games were lopsided.

The defense should have been overhauled after the 2007 season but because we were 13-3, Vanilla Bob got 1 year too many. The 3-4 isn't there yet, but it is coming around pretty well. We still have a few square pegs in roung holes, but overall, there is enough talent to field a top ten defense.

Zero, you aren't allowed to say "shut up" anymore, owner or not.

You can only say ...

SILENCE!
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
