Underrated

Not an original one in this thread, but Cullen Jenkins. The man is on par with Woodson. Maybe he isn't all that underrated, though.

Both of our ILBs, A.J. Hawk and Nick Barnett. They have some vision, play pretty smart and, when allowed, can totally turn it loose and take the ball carriers down before they reach the LoS.

Ryan Pickett. Very humble big guy. I'd like to give him a hug.

And lastly... Ted Thompson. This man will leave here as a well respected one. Even though he's too cool to care.

Overrated

Greg Jennings. I know that we like to think that he's easily on par with Roddy White, but he's playing less impressive, with a better receiver lining up on the other side of him. Great player, just a bit overrated.

And lastly, Jeremy Kapinos. We're all happy that Kapinos isn't Frost, but the fact remains that he's been very average. At best. I think he ranks 30th or something like that in net average.

+1 To the Rock for the Ted props and sig.

If our special teams didn't allow opposing offenses to start inside Packer territory every other drive, Kapinos' numbers wouldn't look so bad.

And if he didn't outkick his coverage all the time, it'd work better, as well. Two sides are to be blamed here. He doesn't have that touch. It's either a long one that looks like a line driver or a short one with great hangtime.

I could do that, as well.

There's some room for improvement now, though, but I fell that your exact comment shows why I think he's overrated.

But lets not hi-jack this thread. Lol.

Nothing personal, this is a generalized rant at all you European assholes (see I told you this wasn't personal, lol) that think soccer is such a superior game to American football, 8 gazillion fans watch soccer, the passion is so great, etc. etc. etc.

We can't get 32 decent kickers, or for that matter, 32 decent punters...

From the whole rest of the soccer-playing frigging world.

Don't EVEN tell me about the Americans that cannot kick...

Their dads wouldn't LET them. It has to do with effeminate tendency concerns on the part of a parent.

sorta kidding around.

OK, mostly kidding around.

Overrated: Ryan Grant, Donald Lee (Remember that drop in MN that would have been a TD?)

Underrated: Jarret Bushh!!!.. haha just messin..

Nick Barnett and AJ Hawk ( Both have been beastin lately )

Tramon Williams, this guy has been lined up with the teams top recievers most of the time while woodsen is inside.

Under-rated: The entire defense. who along with Dom Capers has been taking all kinds of flack. The flack has been based primarily on the two games against Minn and the Cinn game--look at the standings--those teams are GOOD, and are giving fits to just about everyone they play. The 2nd Minn game (and the TB game--21 pts scored off of a total 25 yds in offense by the bucs) were not defensive let-downs, but were letdowns in other areas (special teams, etc).

Over-rated: Jarrett Bush. We kept him because of his special teams ability, and our special teams stink horribly. We should ask the team that offered him a contract if they'll take him back.

Overrated: Jennings. Don't get me wrong, he's really good but i'd take DD over him in a heartbeat. I think we would get by just fine without Jennings and insert James Jones or Jordy by next year when their a little more experienced.

Underrated: James Jones. He reminds me a lot of Boldin. I'd like to see how he does as the #2 guy all season. All he does is make big plays every time i see him.

I haven't kicked a soccer ball for 3 years now. It's fun and all, but I'd rather throw my football. I think I did indeed get a stronger leg by playing soccer, but the technique is totally different. Especially from punting.

Next to that, why would Europeans want to play kicker on a football team, seeing barely any action and never being in the spotlight, if they can play soccer and be stars? And that's the ones who actually know of the game.

I'm pretty sure that I can line drive it pretty far. I do that all the time. I can't, for the life of me, get a decent hangtime on the thing, though. Maybe not 50 yards, like Kapinos can, but you get my point.

Mostly kidding.

Sort of.
