If the sacks are a problem, why is it a good thing that Colledge's injury isnt serious? He contributes his great ammount of them! I better watch my mouth though...the man's wife might come after me.

It's normal to give up a few sacks to good teams. The Cowboys can get after the QB. We didn't give up an inordinate amount. I think we could have the Olien stabilized, assuming Clifton holds up...

I'll try not to repeat what everyone else has said (much)...

Positives:
- Defensive line - Jolly and Jenkins were very disruptive, and Raji did well in his limited snaps. An outstanding performance against a very good, very big Cowboys line (although, I'm sure the injuries to it didn't hurt...)
- Collins had a good game.
- Nice to see Barnett finally getting to the QB (although I still hate that stupid Samurai celebration).
- Big, timely win. We really needed the confidence boost. We could (should) be 7-4 heading into December.
- Woodson and Matthews. Wow. Woodson will be DPOW, and Matthews has at least got to be in the running for DROY.
- Both rookies (Lang and Jones) had a good game.
- Nice to see the blitz make a comeback. This was the defense we were all so fired up about during the preseason. Seems like Capers opened up the playbook more with Kampy out.

Negatives:
- Very slow start for the offense. Given our defensive play, this game should have been a blowout.
- Two more bad challenges by McCarthy. What was he looking at?
- Even though it worked in our favor, that "can't challenge a fumble recovery" thing is nonsense and it needs to be done away with.
- Running the ball on 2nd and long.
- Running the ball on 3rd and long!

Didn't see that play, but no way they can use replays on fumbles where there's a big pile of guys wrestling for the ball. That's just asking for nonsense. I just don't think it's feasible.
Agreed on those 2nd and 3rd and long plays. You ain't fooling anyone if you do that every single time, MM. Our RBs don't have the speed to make it 20 yards before the defense can react. Ain't gonna happen.

Woodson obviously, but what I've been very encouraged to see the last few weeks has been AJ Hawk. He's been all over the field. He's adding "playmaker" to his "assignment sure".

I saw a positive on the defensive side that needs to be a permanent move...Keep brad jones in as OLB and have kampman as a rotating DE...I love AK but he is not good at all for the 3-4 scheme especially as an OLB..

What did Brad Jones do so well that Kampman doesn't? And if I hear he's so much better at pass coverage that makes me laugh. There were at least two plays that had Romo had a good throw Jones would have been burned. Just curious what out of Jones was so good that we'd want to make the change permanent?

My big negative for the game is TE play. Other than Havner's TD pass, Lee committed 2 holding plays, and hardly anything else in the passing game by the group. Hope Finley back next week will bring back the spark at the position. I think if we get a TE pulling the LBs deep again, the underneath routes will start being available for Rodgers on the 3 step drops and pressure plays.

u serious? the guy is a rookie and started his first NFL game and did better then what AK usually does...U can think of two occasions he got burned? well i can think of at least 30 for AK....Plus Brad got to the QB and pressured him BETTER then AK does as an OLB...Take off your green goggles kid...He's clearly got an act for that position and will probably surpass AK within a year or two....AK just isnt meant to be an OLB...ake him a DE again or trade him....otherwise he's hurting himself as a player as us as a team...
