The Saints have a great home field advantage, but a lesser Vikings team beat the Saints in the SuperDome last year. Brees didn't look to hot, and a couple of flukey punts landed and Bush's hands kept the game close.

But, as far as this year.. I don't see the Vikings beating the Saints. At least, not at this point.

The Saints are a new team this year. They're clearly for real as starting 8-0 is no small task. Most importantly, their fans are electric inside the superdome. I think the Vikings can beat New Orleans in Minnesota, but in New Orleans, the Saints have some swagger to them. I see Minnesota's need for home field advantage more important than New Orleans' right now.

Like I said before, I'm just glad the Vikings don't have to play NO this year. At least, not until the playoffs (most likely an NFC title game). You know if that happened, both teams would be leaving everything on the field, which would make it a great game to watch as fans. And probably give me a heart attack. lol

Clearly, these are the two most complete teams in the NFC. Though the same was being said for the Giants and Panthers at this time last year as you said. Formo - I'm not sure how the Saints' ST coverage is. Right now, you have possibly the most dangerous returner in the NFL. Could be the wild card of the game.

STs always gets overlooked but as we've learned the hard way in '09, it could cost some games. We've allowed some pretty bad returns all year this year and because of that, our D has been playing on short fields all year long.

Harvin currently leads the NFL in KO return average and KO TDs. That shouldn't be overlooked.
