I think he had his worst game Sunday. I think he is trying to make a play. Sometimes he holds the ball too long. I think he thinks he can get away with doing that, critics be damned (in his mind) We would be completely fucked if he he didn't think like that, imo. This guy is a gamer. He needs a better line. He does not need more conservative play-calling from MM. He needs the opposite.
Let him run. He is a tough SOB. Man, they called him fragile two years ago. What a laugh that is.
Something was definitively fucked up in that game against Tampa. No one can convince me that we are incapable of getting open against Tampa's D.
It seemed that way, though. I suspect MM did something way too stupid against them, play and scheme-wise. I could be wrong, but that is what it "felt" like, to me.
I also liked how Ahman rolled with the ball, for the most part.
