I give the kid credit he does what is asked of him, and after all he did do something that Rodgers hasn't done and that was have a game winning drive in the playoffs. Someone said it earlier he came thru when it counted.

He's averaging 10 completions per game with a 44.4% completion rate. How any of you can make excuses for such minimal performance, simply because the rest of his team is carrying him on their shoulders, is beyond me. Any other quarterback in the league who had statistics that poor would have been ridden out of town on a rail.

A quick glance at those numbers (22.5 attempts per game against 63 rushing attempts per game!) shows that the coaching staff is giving him the ball as little as humanely possible. If they don't trust him to shoulder his fair share of the burden, why should we be singing his praises?

Hey non before you jump all over flacco check out other qbs like Big Ben when he took over on the steelers he would average like 18 passes a game thats it. That is how they play the game and he just goes out and does his business and damn he has a cannon on him. He had the one throw of about 45 yards on a line, he has a very pretty deep ball.

Also don't knock him that bad after all his team is playing to goto the Superbowl.

Precisely. His TEAM is playing for the Superbowl. If he had turned out those numbers on any team that wasn't playoff bound, if he hadn't been lucky enough to ride this team's coattails, he would have been ridiculed as a bust. ๐Ÿ™‚

And those are all the reasons I didn't pick the Ravens to beat the Titans.
Oh well that game knocked me out of the chance to win a Congress pizza.

He is doing what is asked of him whats so hard to understand? He is the 1st rookie to win his 1st 2 playoff games. But when asked to pass the ball at the end of the game against a very tough defense he did something Rodgers couldn't do. He moved the ball and got them a win. Sorry Non just the facts man.

He hasn't done anything spectacular. 1 nice pass for a TD on some really bad coverage that any QB would complete. Another deep jump ball the the WR made the play on. And a tight pass for a first down.

Ten completely dominated them the entire game, and it was the mistakes of Ten and the Ravens Defense gettting the ball back in critical situations that won the games.

If the D does not put up that type of performance I don't think they can win. Hell the D has almost half the number of take aways in two games as Falco has in completions.

I personally hate how the Media blows whatever QB is on the winning team.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I'm feeling generous, so I'm going to assume you're writing this with your tongue firmly lodged in cheek. Flacco is passing for less than 150 yards a game. To say he "moved the ball" is a huge stretch.

The thing is, you can look into stats all you want. Some QBs can get their teams to the Playoffs (like Favre and Elway) with mediocre teams. Some QBs just ride a solid team to the Playoffs (like Big Ben - I know some people will hate me for this, but put Big Ben on the '08 Packers and watch us be 5-11. I'm not really impressed by him. Or for a more extreme example - Wrecks Grossman. Easily in the top 10 worst starting QBs and surprise, surprise - he's in the Super Bowl).
