I saw two things, both positive:
1) Grant was actually fighting for yards,
2) holes. This OL isn't completely dead. Hope to see it continue to emerge.

Grant's cutting was very noticeable too, imo. I mean he was SEEING the holes and cutting way back to hit them. It was freaking great.

Today you saw the potential Grant has when he actually has somewhere to run.

and ,moreover; given the opportunity to run...

Good point. We really didn't abandon the run. Plus he had more carries, because our drives weren't stalling.

I do not have faith in grant. imo i think we should get a faster more explosive back in the draft to either complement him or supplant him. it wld be crazy great if when we drafted a man by the name of Jahvad Best is still around. or even try to package deal and trade up for him. Maybe even CJ Spiller. i really like spiller and his ability to make people miss and totally avoid contact with them by using his speed.

Best player available. Would be great if someone dropped to us, though. Grant is above average, but he's not "great."
He was as good as Dorsey Levens his first year with the team. This year, he's a little below that. But he'll never be as good as Ahman Green.

I know we played the browns this week. And I know he got a lot of garbage time carries. But i saw some glimmers of hope this week. Not only did I see him actually follow quinn through holes but i saw him hit the cutback lane a few times. The thing I was most impressed with was the way he was attacking defenders. I haven't seen grant run a guy over in a long time, and this week he just looked...hungry. Obviously facing the queen's d-line is a whole different story. The things I saw this week just gave me some hope for the rest of the season. What did you guys see?

Having Lang and Quinn in there is great. We actually had a running game today. Looks like Grant was excited about it too. He was actually making moves and juking guys. On occasion, anyway.

I think the line played very well, both Grant and Jackson looked good when they got the ball today.

I noticed this too. There is no reason not to follow this guy where ever he goes. I wonder if GB cuts Korey Hall or reaches an injury settlement? You can't deactivate Johnson or Kuhn IMO.

At some part in the game, I thought that Ryan Grant was held upright so they could strip the ball. When looking at it again, though, it was Quinn Johnson who just refused to go down. He was standing there with about 3 Browns around him.

Thought that was pretty neat.

u guys do realize that the Browns are ranked 32nd against the run...So yea, alot of teams that played them can create holes and make the RB's look good...He still isnt the elusive RB that we hope for and so desperately need..I mean it's sad when u get excited to hear your old RB is back on the team...Grant was a one year wonder that took advantage of D's playing against the pass due to Favre and company...Sad but true..

Keep Quinn Johnson in the game and start TJ Lang, and good things happen.

Lang > Clifton in terms of run blocking, and Quinn destroys people. It's no surprise that this happened, if you think about it.
