yea i think we need to get it in Finley's hands more than Jones to be honest, (not saying because he's on my fantasy team but he is, lol)

he's shown he can be a big threat as a receiver, i prefer more balls Finley's way than jones and actually more balls to Jennings too please!

Why can't jones return punts?? Im confused as to why he was never mentioned when that is talked about

Jordy is a good wide receiver and a better kick returner. Brett Swain is most like to take over that job now, however, since Jordy is hurt we can use 2 TE in the line up. We can audible Finley as a WR for short scrimmage, because Rodgers need to get rid of the ball faster than he has been. Critics have said that Rodgers has been holding the ball for way to long and he runs in to trouble. Finley and Lee are great athletes we have on our team and we should try to put them in more often since we are short at WR.

Our OL stinks so we need more WR weapons.

Can't see Jones returning punts, Kicks maybe, but don't want him there either. Jones has never struck me as a shifty running, somebody who makes people miss in limited space like a PR does. Jones IMO would rather run them over.

Jones should play more snaps now, so his use should go up.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

16 Brett Swain WR 6-0 203 24 1 San Diego State D7b-08 (FA-08)
80 Donald Driver WR 6-0 194 34 11 Alcorn State D7b-99
85 Greg Jennings WR 5-11 198 26 4 Western Michigan D2b-06
89 James Jones WR 6-1 218 25 3 San Jose State D3a-07
87 Jordy Nelson WR 6-3 217 24 2 Kansas State D2a-08

88 Jermichael Finley TE 6-5 247 22 2 Texas D3-08

Somehting I did not realize is the size difference between DD and GJ compared to JJ and JN.

Jones and Nelson 20lbs heavier, I really didn't know Jordy was taller than Jones.

Finley is just a beast!!!!!!

JJ has the size and moves to get some good mismatches, look for him to have a good game, him or Finley should have chances for some big plays.

A team can't double team everyone. JJ needs to step it up and pick up the slack of Jordy being out the next few weeks.

I think less Jordy will mean more running the ball.

I hope you're not.

I still can't grasp the concept of staying with a constantly struggling running game while we have this passing game. It's like the Patriots constantly running Maroney or the Colts constantly giving the ball to Addai, but then on a smaller scale.

WCO --> Short routes substitute for the run to some extent --> Opens up deep routes and stops pass rush.

Just go for the short passing game. It works wonder with our receivers and quarterback.

Of course I don't want us to completely abandon the running game. I'm pretty happy with where we are now. Just running it enough to keep the defense on their heels, stop the all out rush and tire them a little, yet, we're still an obvious passing team. As we should be.

Sucks that Jordy is out, btw. Maybe it's some sort of vicious cycle where our 3rd receivers keep getting injured, giving the 4th more playing time, bumping him up to 3rd...

Jones could be a #1 reciever on alot of teams. He's that good. It's just that he's stuck behind Jennings and Driver. We've got 4 guys who could be #1 WRs in the NFL. Plus Finley.

+1 Great point. We all saw a little bit of what he can do against the Queens. I would love to see a singleback formation (since Grant is not exactly great at following his blocker) with Lee, Finley, Driver, and Jennings. We could do a lot out of that but we lose the extra help of a blocking back. So maybe that drawback is too major to do that formation, just saying we would have some great talent on the field.

Id love to see a driver jennings lee and finley set up. GL vikes in covering those guys ...

then hand it off to jackson on a wide run and watch him get 8 yards ;)

Antoine Winfield is currently OUT with a sprained foot. Dunno if he'll be back next week, though.
I'd like to see some screens and traps to slow down the Queens pass rush and then also some WCO to wear down the Williams sisters and keep Brent off the field.
