Am I the only skeptic here?

32 year old with many injuries ... ya thats nice he will gain 46 yards and get a prize.

btw where is that sig with Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson 'eye on the prize' ...

So Mike McCarthy couldnt make a screen play with the personel he had? ... jackson? or heck maybe a back that doesnt need a cane to play?

I don't think you read up too much on what the signing means. Which is very little. He's not here to replace Grant. If he was, then you're comments would fit, but since he's not, it makes no sense.

If we need Green to carry the ball 10 or more times a game. We have bigger issues than being skeptical with our football team.

From how it sounds, he'll be backing up Grant/Jackson and helping out in the 3rd down portion of games he said he might be on kick returns.

Again, nothing to be excited about, in a positive or negative way.

Who remembers Vernand Morency? what happened to that guy lol?. I remember when he was supposed to be our starting back in 07. Good thing that Grant deal worked out. Just read he is job less. Sorry to get off point.

Please let him help on punt returns I've read that Woodson could step in and I dont like that one bit. I say let T. Will or Green or even Swain to do it.

I don't really see him helping all that much. Seems like just more of a nostalgic move.

Because the Packers are in such a nostalgic point in the season with their depth, right?

Give me a break.

I think we all should understand Green was not brought in to be the savior of our running game, that time has long passed for Green.

I believe he was brought in for 3rd downs (Green is a great receiving RB) and probably to return kicks.

Used sparingly, I think Green will be a positive asset, more than Wynn was.

There was better options out there than a banged up 32 year old RB with a fumbling reputation.

Exactly. My first thought was, wow, we got Green back. Next thought was, oh god, i hope he doesnt still have his fumbling problem. That guy lost so many games for us with fumbles. AHHHHHHH It's like Bubba with the drops.

One fumble in nearly 100 touches?

What games did his fumbling cost us?

And you do realize he probably won't even touch the ball 99 times this year, right?

I'll wait for the games his fumbles cost us a win.

The fumbling decreased, and he didn't have any in Houston.

You know that if he does fumble even once, there is going to be talk on all of the radio stations about the black sleeves vs. the white sleeves vs. no sleeves.

All i'm saying is that it got to a point where i held my breath every time the ball was thrown to Bubba and every time Green had the ball in his hands. I cant remember which games he lost us. It's been a while. I just remember he had a knack for costing us a lot of momentum.
