Ho. Ly. Shit.
If this isn't for a one-day retirement contract, my Ted Thompson Respect-O-Meter just dropped a few degrees.

I doubt it. What has he done these last two years? He's done nothing the last two years. He's been injured more often than not and he's obviously lost a step.
What did we sign him for? Screens? We got Jackson for that. He's not that amazing a blocker.
This one boggles the mind, if it won't be a one day retirement contract.

He's done more than Wynn, that's for sure...
Last 2 years for Ahman:
2007 Houston 6 70 260 43.3 3.7 2 TD 14 123 20.5 8.8 53 9.7 2 0
2008 Houston 8 74 294 36.8 4.0 3 TD 11 32 4.0 2.9 8 6.5 0 0
Wynn will most likely head to IR with the knee injury he's battling...
We're not bringing Ahman in to the be the starter, or even the #2, he's better than Wynn and that's all I care about. Jackson hasn't done jack squat, he had 2 carries Sunday and fumbled. A veteran guy like Ahman is nice to have around and if he's healthy, he's easily an upgrade over Wynn. We worked him out, obviously this(signing him) means he's passed the test.
